I am very sorry to hear about your grandfather's condition. I understand how painful and difficult that situation is. If you ever want to share more, please feel free to comment some more or send an email my way.

I think one of the greatest experiences of my life, as painful as it was, was having the honor of being able to take care of a man who had taken such care of me for so long.

Take care.Josellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15446698567577764380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7952387174637288395.post-11197729515834315562008-02-03T02:07:00.000-05:002008-02-03T02:07:00.000-05:00Joselle, I am so glad that I found your blog. My ...Joselle, I am so glad that I found your blog. My grandfather is 79 and we are going through the exact same thing with him. He loved to eat but around November 2007 he stopped eating and we have gone from protein shakes to basically water with him. The physicians said there is nothing preventing him from eating, but he just doesn't. We are distraught because he is so weak and is virtually dying before our eyes. Reading your blog is preparing me I guess for the day that he is no longer with us.

Thanks for sharing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7952387174637288395.post-27931663765502371962007-08-25T22:35:00.000-04:002007-08-25T22:35:00.000-04:00Hi, Joselle...Thanks for posting to my blog. The kitchen is the heart of the family. I'll never forget the recipes I've learned from my grandparents and how those recipes have shaped my parents and myself. You've definitely honored your grandfather.fidlerflutehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10575567624667327725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7952387174637288395.post-51559265829787459922007-08-16T15:06:00.000-04:002007-08-16T15:06:00.000-04:00HI Joselle! You write beautifully.
